ABOUT ME
I am a San Francisco Bay Area-based UX designer with a passion for creating simple and delightful experiences. I am currently working for Macy's and Bloomingdale's where I've enjoyed tackling customer problems that span across settings and digital channels. In my own time, I volunteer with Open Oakland where I've provided design and user research on a responsive website that translates campaign finance data into a format that is more easily understood by the average voter.
The best designs are research driven and user tested. When I start on a project, I begin by gathering information to understand the problem. Before developing initial designs, I identify business and customer goals as well as an understanding of how success will be evaluated. When designing, I start by sketching as many ideas as possible and meeting with other designers or team members to brainstorm a wide variety of solutions. Once I have a few promising designs, I typically develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to bring these ideas to life. Feedback from users and team members informs the subsequent phases of my designs. I work closely with developers and product managers to plan out and support design delivery. Once the design is live, I evaluate effectiveness through customer feedback and other usage metrics.
